Created by Crayone, one of San Francisco’s pioneering graffiti artists, these boots carry more than four decades of graffiti, Hip-Hop, street art, and underground culture straight to your feet. The artwork begins the way graffiti has always meant the most to me—by hand. Paint markers, brushes, ink, instinct, mistakes, discoveries, and layers of hand-drawn graffiti come together over denim fabric before being transformed into a wearable piece of street art. Every mark represents years spent developing letters, experimenting with color, painting when nobody was watching, and staying committed to an art form long before graffiti was welcomed into galleries, museums, fashion, and popular culture. The result brings together the rebellious energy of old-school Hip-Hop, graffiti, punk rock, and street fashion into something personal, unpredictable, and impossible to mistake for mass-produced style.
